Describe what you love about what you do: My business allows me to travel, explore fashion, and meet interesting people from all over the world. I never considered how rewarding this would be. I did not expect to bring such joy and confidence into women’s lives.
Name something about New Orleans that can always put you in a good mood: New Orleans puts me in a good mood because you can go to a coffee shop and make friends, you can walk down the street and people say hi, you can wear a costume just because you feel like it that day.
Describe your charitable work or favorite causes: I am on the board of NOMA—the museum and its Sculpture Garden are one of the crown jewels of our city. And I proudly serve on the board of Second Harvest Food Bank. They are working overtime to provide the basic necessity of food to those in need.
What advice would you give to your twenty-year-old self? Don’t measure yourself by degrees or salaries. There is no life order to personal accomplishments. You have to find inner happiness, otherwise none of the rest really matters.
