While you shop at Rouses Supermarkets for all of your Thanksgiving meal needs, you'll notice a new tenant. The grocery store and local shop Home Malone have teamed up to create exclusive merchandise, including a Makin' Groceries door hanger celebrating Rouses' 60th anniversary. In a post on Instagram, Kristin Malone announced that the products will be carried in over 30 Rouses locations along the Gulf Coast and expressed her gratitude for the exposure.

Marcy Nathan, Rouses' creative director, told Adore that she feels so proud to have worked with Kristin. "We've always had the idea of doing work with local artists to complement what we do with local food purveyors...[this collaboration] is one more way for us to be local."

The original door sign (pictured) was tweaked for Rouses Supermarket.

Along with the door hanger, other merchandise includes a Home Malone Makin' Groceries tea towel and ornaments. Rouses' illustrator, Kacie Galtier, also designed a tea towel which will be sold alongside Malone's products as well as in Home Malone stores. "It was a collaboration back and forth," Nathan explains. "There are more projects in the works and we're excited to extend the collaboration. Donny Rouse was so enthusiastic to see this project come to fruition."

The products, which make great hostess gifts or stocking stuffers, are now available, with more to come.
