Located just steps away from The Historic New Orleans Collection on Royal Street, The Shop at the Collection is more than just an adorable gift shop. The French Quarter store serves as an ambassador to the museum, as well as a curator of exclusive products and a collaborator with local artists and businesses.
Inside, visitors will be pleased to find unique objects, books, jewelry, and artwork. Local artists and makers are prominently featured throughout, including Louisiana craftsman Nick Conner and his collection of wooden bowls, pedestals, and cutting boards. Shoppers will find clever and relaxing candles from Wicks NOLA and November Fields, wonderfully New Orleans notecards by New Orleans Studio of Statement Goods, and handmade Lilliput Little Things earrings.
The Shop at the Collection produces its own line of product that features images from the museum's archive such as the Michael P. Smith Collection. Books published by The Historic New Orleans Collection are also available for purchase.
Museum shops play an important role to their institutions and community, and The Shop at the Collection enjoys visitor engagement and sharing all things THNOC and New Orleans. Stop in to say hello and take a piece of culture home with you, wherever home may be.
