Cayenne Round Oven Lid with Spices

To celebrate Le Creuset's launch of their latest color, Cayenne, Gris-Gris is teaming up with the brand for a "hot dish" pop-up dinner series. The four-course dinner, crafted by Chef Eric Cook, promises fiery flavors and will take place at the Magazine Street restaurant on Wednesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 12.

Dishes will include a Gulf oyster stew, summer watermelon salad, braised short ribs and grits, and put-up satsuma custard. Each course incorporates elements of cayenne and is to be enjoyed with a paired wine. The evenings will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a spicy welcome cocktail and dinner will take place at 7 p.m. Tickets are available (but going fast!) for $160 and includes tax and gratuity.
