Looking to jazz up your weekend plans? Join in on a virtual drag brunch hosted by Poppy Tooker, the author of Drag Queen Brunch, on Saturday, June 13 from the comfort of your own home.
Tooker, alongside Chef Jarred Zeringue of Wayne Jacob’s Smokehouse and a quartet of "fabulous queens", will host a live cooking class on Zoom, complete with drag performances. Heads up: the class is BYOMimosa. We suggest coming prepared to indulge!
So, what's on the menu? Participants will learn to make Tasso Baked Eggs and Cracklin Biscuits with Steen’s Cane Syrup Butter during the festivities. All participants will receive a digital copy of the recipes ahead of time and the link and password to the Zoom meeting. Tooker's book is also available; it will be personalized, signed, and shipped after class.
