Nola on Tap

Martini Madness 

Calling all martini lovers! This Friday night, 25 specialty martinis will be available for tasting at the annual event. Hosted by the Friends of City Park, this year's party will have delectable cuisine from over 35 Nola restaurants, as well as raffles, a photobooth, and live entertainment. Before the Madness tickets (entrance at 7 p.m.) are sold out, but there are still general admission tickets to go around. Martini Madness takes place Friday, September 20th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. More information here.

Nola On Tap

Nola on Tap is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as it takes over City Park on Saturday, September 21st. The festival is dog friendly and features more than 400 local, national, and homebrewed beers. Add in food, games, prizes, "Barktoberfest," and more! All proceeds from the one-day festival, which is sponsored by Port Orleans Brewing Co., will benefit the homeless animals at the Louisiana SPCA. Nola on Tap takes place Saturday, September 21st and general admission starts at 12 p.m. More information here.

Fried Chicken Festival

This 3-day festival, presented by Raising Cane's, is the perfect remedy if you still haven't gotten your hands on a Popeyes fried chicken sandwich. The fest features fare from over 30 restaurants, live music (with 3 different stages), and two VIP tents that are tented and furnished, one with bottomless bubbles by Chandon, and a Royalty Lounge by Crown Royal. Fried Chicken Festival starts Friday, September 20th and runs through Sunday, September 22nd.
