Get in the spirit this season with The Historic New Orleans Collection. Between performances, tours, and extended hours, the museum is leaning into the holidays by offering events for all ages.

On Thursday, December 12 from 4 to 4:30 p.m., the Chalmette High School Choir will perform in costume in THNOC's courtyard (520 Royal Street), beside the large Christmas tree.

The museum is also one of the five historic houses featured in the Louisiana State Museum's Creole Christmas tours. Starting Friday, December 27 through Sunday, December 29, attendees will take a festive stroll around the French Quarter with Friends of the Cabildo. The tour occurs three times daily and will finish with a Creole Christmas Story and refreshments. Tickets are $20 for museum members, $25 for general admission, $15 for seniors and students (up to age 22), and free for children under 12.

THNOC is also offering special Monday openings of its new exhibition center on December 23 and 30. All exhibitions at the campus will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes the newly opened Crescent City Sport: Stories of Courage and Change, as well as The Shop at The Collection and Cafe Cour. The Shop will also be open on Monday, December 16 for your last minute shopping needs.
