Olivia Carisella, a former NCAA Champion gymnast at the University of Alabama, is not only dedicated to health and wellness, but passionate about the workout method she has created and perfected over the years. The New Orleans native offers fun and effective music driven workouts that are accessible to anyone through OC Fit.
She officially launched her program last year with Instagram Live workouts in March, then her streaming platform in November. She also offers personalized private classes which can be taken in person or online, and socially distanced park workouts.
Her classes range in length and type, but each promises a toning and mood boosting sweat session. A few options include Carisella's signature Sculpt class, a fast-paced workout that targets every inch of your body (take it from me!), and Slow Sculpt, a Reformer Pilates-inspired class that increases overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
"Our ever-evolving streaming platform now offers almost 10 different class options as well as our new self care series," Carisella told Adore.
At Alabama, she received her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and is Registered Dietitian Eligible. She also holds certifications in Vinyasa yoga (200 hours) and Pilates (300 hours).
"I’m looking forward to adding a nutrition portion to our streaming platform, where clients will have access to recipes, health tips, and more. I’m a big believer in input/output and everything we put in our bodies has a large impact on our fitness and I’m looking forward to sharing my dietetic knowledge with our streamers!"

When did you launch your IG and start gaining a following? What inspired you to transition your IG workouts to a website and streaming platform?
When COVID numbers started to rise in New Orleans my family and I escaped to our house in Seaside, FL. I immediately felt the quarantine isolation kick in, and knew I needed to figure out a way to overcome the obstacles of our new reality and re-connect with my community! March 18, 2020 I created the IG @OliviaC.Fit, a virtual studio providing quick, fun, and effective at-home workouts. New Orleans friends and clients started joining my daily IG LIVES to sweat, connect and briefly escape our current pandemic reality. This new amazing community started growing faster than expected, and I quickly realized I found a silver lining: combining my passion for health and fitness to inspire others!
I collaborated with Caroline Brennan, NP on Nola Nurse Love, a fundraising campaign with a mission to support local businesses and give back to our healthcare workers! Caroline knew firsthand how much the healthcare workers needed our support. I turned my IG LIVES into donation-based workouts and together we donated over $9,400 to local healthcare workers by supporting local businesses in the Greater New Orleans Area. From there, I realized we created something special, so I teamed up with software engineer Grace Jansen and we turned our virtual studio platform dreams into a reality. Stay tuned for my virtual classes starting in April, during which I’ll be donating weekly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of my campaign for Woman of the Year!
What can people expect from your classes? Are your workouts beginner friendly?
Fun, approachable, and effective online workouts made for anyone at any level, minimal props necessary! I have dedicated a lot of time, sweat, and hard work over the past six years to fine tune a method that is equal parts effective and enjoyable. My goal with these classes is to leave you feeling strong, toned and mentally energized. Start your day off with a killer beat-driven workout where the energy is high and the smiles are contagious!
Do you plan to continue in-person classes?
Absolutely! I’ve been doing more weather permitting pop-up classes which have been a huge success and I’ll continue training with my one-on-one clients as well. I plan to continue to focus on expanding our online platform for our amazing virtual community!
How often would you recommend taking your classes per week?
I recommend taking 2-3 of my different classes per week targeting different body parts to get an optimal full body workout!
I saw that you were launching a bridal program – can you tell me about that?
YES! I’m looking forward to the launch of our new bridal series! I find so much joy in helping others reach their goals mentally and physically through fitness and nutrition, but I have an extra soft spot for my brides! This 6-week program is filled with high energy sculpting workouts as well as slow flow stress reducers. Email me at email@example.com for special pricing on bridal packages!
What is your favorite part about having an online platform?
My favorite part of being virtual is that I can reach people all over the world, giving my clients the ability to workout anywhere/anytime. Forming new routines can be challenging, but having a new workout at your fingertips helps keep the workouts sustainable!
