The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is hosting its annual walk in New Orleans on October 10. This year, NAMIWalks is virtual and can take place anywhere from your neighborhood to your treadmill. Participants are asked to walk a 5k to raise awareness and funds that support free, top-rated programs for the community.

Prepare to be inspired by the compelling works in Ogden Museum of Southern Art's annual juried exhibition Louisiana Contemporary. Presented by The Helis Foundation, this year's exhibition features work by 56 contemporary artists from across the state and is on view through February 7, 2021. Since its launch in 2012, Louisiana Contemporary has presented over 700 works by 450 artists.
