Adore's new series will follow the typical morning routine of a New Orleans mover and shaker.
Caitlyn Milligan started her blog Milligan Movement in 2015, as an impressionable college student. "I felt the need to seek out a healthy influence through an everyday lifestyle and remember not knowing anyone from New Orleans who was showcasing that healthy lifestyle through social media," the New Orleans native explained. "I wanted to be that person for New Orleans!"
After graduating from Tulane, Milligan cheered as a Saintsation for 4 years, then worked at Pure Barre for 5 years. Besides being passionate about fitness, Milligan is known for her innovative and delicious recipes. Running her blog has become a full-time job, filled with meetings and shoots, but also serves as a creative outlet. When Milligan isn't working on her brand, she is prepping for her upcoming nuptials with the help of Sapphire Events.

5:00 a.m. Our alarm goes off at 5 a.m. My fiance has to be at work for 6 a.m. and since I'm a light sleeper, I'm up as well. Before I workout I use my morning time to prep for the day. I'll fold laundry (my absolute favorite laundry detergent is Mrs. Meyer's basil scent), unload the dishwasher, or even vacuum or mop the floors. I've become pretty fond of cleaning and organizing in the early am so I'm not coming home to it...
7 a.m. I'm in the shower before 7 to wake myself up for a workout class at Lagniappe Fitness. I like weight training and high-intensity workouts, although I chose not to lift heavy! After my workout I come home to shower again, YES again. I can't put on clean clothes without showering... EVER. Most of my skin care products includes Mad Hippie with a splash of Skinceuticals. I'm also an avid flosser; I love how it feels!
10 a.m. By 10 a.m. I'm usually at my 1st meeting or headed to a blog shoot. The cool thing about being a blogger is that every day is different. Some days are shoot days and other days are spent on my computer. I can work or shoot from home and other days I don't see home until 9 p.m. I'll usually try and schedule all my meetings and appointments on the same day to maximize efficiency.
11 a.m. I intermittent fast until noon. So after a meeting or blog shoot I'm catching up on emails, responding to DMs, or pitching new content ideas to brands. I do however drink cold brew coffee to get me through my mornings! I usually stick with the Trader Joe's brand.
