Adore's new series will follow the typical morning routine of a New Orleans mover and shaker.
Dr. Alisha Reed is a true Jill of all trades: she's a pharmacist, working mother, and a popular blogger who covers an assortment of topics from self care to female empowerment. Nola Bougie is regularly updated with tips, product reviews, and her travels. Reed is active on social media and takes her followers along to events across the city and into under-the-radar spas and other establishments. She created her blog as an outlet after the birth of her son and has watched it grow into a platform for all women. She's also a member of the Junior League of New Orleans and co-chairs the Sylvain Society of Young Professionals. (How does she do it!?)

3:30 a.m. My son’s room is under attack by monsters.
4:30 a.m. Repeatedly kicked in the back by the 4-year-old who has taken over the bed.
5:30 a.m. Alarm goes off. Hit snooze.
5:39 a.m. Alarm goes off again. Look over and see my husband sleeping so peacefully. *Insert not so nice thoughts here* Check social media alerts and then stare at the 72,428 email count. Respond to text messages that were sent after my 9:30 bedtime.
5:45 a.m. Pick Mojo up and put him back in his bed. Hop in the shower and fill the room with the smell of lavender from my favorite Bayou Soap.
6:00 a.m. Look in the mirror and wonder why my hair is always a hot mess despite the satin pillow case. Turn on the Lester Love show and wash my face and brush my teeth.
6:05 a.m. Stick my entire head under the faucet of running water to begin the “not so wash and go” process. I apply The Love of People Whip It Hair and Skin Butter then put my hair in my faithful Pineapple ponytail. Apply my Glo Skin Beauty Tinted Moisturizer and my Lip Bar Minimalist gloss.

6:20 a.m. Go into my son’s room turn the lights and TV on. Listen to him whine about being sleepy.
6:22 a.m. Head into the kitchen to fix a cup of Andrelle’s Hormonal tea, because, well, I’m hormonal. Grab Mojo’s Gogurt, applesauce, and cereal bar. Explain to Mojo for the 100th time why he can’t have a Lunchable or Gummies for breakfast.
6:27 a.m. Begin Mojo’s morning routine.
6:45 a.m. Jump in the car. Place Starbucks mobile order for a Venti Pike and Sous Vides Egg White Bites.
6:57 a.m. Pull in the drive thru and pick up my order. Add a donut because Mojo.
7:00 a.m. Call my parents. We talk every morning.
7:05 a.m. Listen to Old Town Road for the next 15 minutes.
7:20 a.m. Drop Mojo off at school and remind him to get a GREEN today then head to work.
