Looking for a unique (and totally easy) way to help your favorite New Orleans business amid the uncertainty and disruptions brought on by COVID-19? Gambit is offering a new way to support local businesses with the Adopt-a-Small Business initiative.

The concept simultaneously promotes locally-owned businesses and local journalism. New Orleans residents can help their favorite spot advertise in an upcoming issue of Gambit at a very discounted rate. This is an opportunity for businesses to let customers know they're still open and keeping people employed. Businesses like Maple Small Animal Clinic, Bywater Framing, and Feet First have been "adopted," as well as restaurants N7 and Boucherie. The Krewe of Red Beans was also adopted.

How It Works

1. Purchase one of the "Adopt-a-Small Business" packages found here.

2. Gambit will contact you for details on the business(es) you would like to donate advertising space to.

3. Gambit will contact the business on your behalf to create the ad to run in a select issue in April or May 2020.

Packages start at $125. The $200, $350, and $500 packages come with small tokens of gratitude.
