Tachic Hickman-Piazza, founder of Allured By Design, is bringing her knowledge and love for interior design to a new limited web series. "Boutique Shopping Saturdays with Allured by Design" will take viewers on a shopping excursion around New Orleans and the North Shore while providing tips and tricks on how to shop like an interior designer and the best places to do so in New Orleans.


"Each episode will highlight the beauty and details of local design boutiques and their showroom floors, showing viewers a glimpse of some of their most popular items, sharing sneak peeks on upcoming products, design trends of the season, the popular color of the year, interviewing the owners and staff of that particular store, and most importantly, sharing the fun experience of what shopping locally is all about," she said.

The series will combine the New Orleans-based design influencer's two loves and industries: interiors and film. When she isn't sharing daily doses of interior design, home décor, and luxe lifestyle inspiration, she is coordinating production and travel for scripted television and film sets and working as an associate producer on reality TV shows. 


When Tachic originally came up with the idea for the show, her goal was to go the traditional route and pitch it to producers and studios, which she said is never a guarantee. Instead, she launched a crowdfunding campaign with several tiers ranging from $25 to $2,500 with incentives for each supporter. (The campaign will run through April 10, 2022.) Already equipped with a camera team, she is ready to begin filming by Summer and hopes that the series will debut in the Fall or in the first quarter of 2023.
