The festival will feature many artists who have contributed to both the local scene and beyond and will also promote and maintain the significance of Congo Square. There will be local art and merchandise vendors, food from all of your favorite local spots, and space for nonprofit organizations who share a similar mission of preserving New Orleans.

There are VIP tickets available, and proceeds from the event will benefit the Uptown Music Theatre and Keep Nola Music Alive, both also founded by Marsalis.

Attendees can also kick off the fun at the Patron Party taking place Friday, August 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Gallier Hall. Bid on the original artwork piece for the official Jazz at Congo Square poster and other items and enjoy cocktails, food, and VIP swag bags while listening to the sounds of Uptown Jazz Orchestra inside the Ty Tracy Theater.

Congo Square is located at 701 N Rampart Street
