The holiday season is in full swing! Be sure to stop by these parties, markets, sales, and other celebrations while you are out and about in New Orleans this weekend. Below, seven events to add to your calendar.

Thursday, 12/8

Join Lekha at its new Magazine Street shop for a festive holiday party! On Thursday, December 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. enjoy wine and samosas, cocktails by El Guapo, and plenty of shopping. Selected works (13 to be exact!) by Helen Kohnke will also be for sale during the celebration.

Friday 12/9

Pronto, one of Lakeview's cutest boutiques, is hosting Alliette Nola on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. The jewelry brand will bring its pendants as well as new exciting styles to shop! Pair your newest piece with a new look from Pronto and you are holiday ready!

Saturday, 12/10

Start your weekend off with an estate sale hosted by @sidehaulnola. Antiques from a beautiful Victorian home located Uptown will be available Saturday, December 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The historic home has belonged to the same family for over 50 years. Items for same include framed art and mirrors, a variety of seating, antiques, and a Chickering petite baby grand piano. The sale is in-person and on-site and first come, first served in order of line when the doors open at 9 a.m. More information, including the address of the home, can be found here.

Join Baldwin & Co. on Saturday, December 10 for the independent bookshop's final Books on Books of the year. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes book giveaways, signings, live music, readings, merch, games, a vendor market, and so much more.

Little Flea Nola is having a holiday flea market at Hotel Saint Vincent on Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop everything from vintage clothing and antiques to plants to gifts from local artists and makers. Attendees can expect drinks, music, face painting for kids, and holiday bouquet and wreath-making. The market will take place in the parking lot, courtyard, and inside the events center.

Freret Street Market's annual holiday market, Freretstivus Freret Market, is taking place on Saturday, December 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature amazing local artisans including Bella Gifts to GeauxPete's Papercrafts, and Voyage Living

The Freret Market is held at the intersection of Freret Street and Napoleon Avenue

Sunday, 12/11

Shop and explore over 40 local artisans in Hotel Peter and Paul's church hall. The holiday market is hosted by Jamboree Jams and will take place Sunday, December 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
